Greg Jergeson first organized the Montana Cooperative Development Center when he worked at the MSU-Northern Foundation in Havre as Director of Grants/Business/Industrial Linkages. He has been on the board of the Center since it incorporated as a private, non-profit organization in 2004.
Greg, and his wife Barb, operated a family farm south of Chinook until the end of 1995. He then worked for the MSU-Northern Foundation until his election to the Montana Public Service Commission in 2002, where he served for two terms, six years as Chairman. Throughout his adult life, Greg Jergeson served in the Montana Senate for 24 years, first elected in 1974 as the youngest State Senator in Montana. His most recent service was 2013-2014.
In addition to his current service on the MCDC Board, Greg serves on the Blaine County Conservation District Board of Supervisors and the Montana Energy Share Board of Directors.
