The Geraldine Grocery Co-op Development Steering Committee continues work on forming a food co-op. The Fresh Start Grocery Store would serve residents living in the small town and surrounding area who currently travel many miles to other cities to buy their groceries. A typical trip to the grocery store includes considerable travel time, distance, and planning for Geraldine residents. The Steering Committee has already hosted a few public meetings in an effort to bring the small community together to establish a grocery co-op.

Geraldine resident, Blaine Juedeman, explains how a food co-op could best serve the interests of the community.
