Jan Brown in front of the US Capitol BldgMCDC Executive Director Janice Brown visited our nation’s capital this week.  She first attended the National Cooperative Business Association’s (NCBA) Annual Cooperatives Conference.  Brown met with several cooperative leaders from across the country.  She also briefed staff members of Montana’s congressional delegation on the economic importance of co-ops and engaged with Cooperative Development Foundation members at their annual training workshop.


Brown’s trip concluded with the spring meeting of Cooperation Works.  While at the two-day event, Brown met with other cooperative development professionals, including Alex Stone, executive director of Cooperation Works.
