About Us

 As the ONLY statewide resource for cooperative development, the Montana Cooperative Development Center (MCDC) works to build and enhance the Cooperative Ecosystem in Montana. Our work includes the formation of new co-ops to meet economic and community needs, and working with groups to evaluate co-op business models and strategies to meet their objectives.  MCDC also provides quality services to the existing Cooperative Community through a shared staff with the sister organization of the Montana Council of Cooperatives. 

MCDC is a nonprofit corporation with financial assistance from state and federal sources, which allows MCDC to offer services at little or no cost to project groups.
